SUMMER SIXES LEAGUE

SUMMER SIXES FORMAT: Olympic Style

  • 6v6,  5 Field Players and a Goalie
  • Four,  10 Minute Running Quarters
  • 6×6 Goals
  • Field Goalies
  • General Field Rules and Equipment
  • Goalies initiate play after goals are scored; draws / faceoffs occur only at the start of each quarter
  • No Offsides: Everyone plays both sides of the field (defense/offensive); substitutions are made on the fly
  • In the women’s game, defensive players cannot be penalized for entering the shooting lane of an offensive player; offensive players will be penalized for taking a shot without regard for other players. No Walling-Defense players crowding in front of their goal or forming a stack/wall formation in front of their goal – not
    within a stick’s length of an opponent.
 
Dates: June 18th, 2025-July 31st, 2025
Days: Wednesdays or Thursdays - 1 Day/week *schedule will post before 6/11/25
Times: 6:00 PM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-8:00 PM
Teams: 10-14 players, only 8 Teams per Division
Location:  Pine Trails Park, 10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33076
Girls Divisions:  U10, U12, U14, High School JV, High School Varsity
Boys Divisions:  U8, U10, U12, U14, High School JV, High School Varsity
Cost: $179/player or $1790/team  *each player receives a Summer Sixes game reversible.

SCHEDULE

The Summer Sixes League schedule will be posted the week before the league start date of Wednesday, June 18th, 2025.

  • Teams play 1x per week on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
  • Games will be either 6 PM or 7 PM on Wednesdays or Thursday's.
  • Canceled games will be rescheduled.

PLAYER & TEAM REGISTRATION
"Register a Team" or enter the "Free Agent Draft": Any players who want to participate but do not have a team can register in the Free Agent Pool. Players will be drafted to teams. Coaches will contact you once you register.
 
Registering Your Team:
Players have the ability to create their own team. All teams must consist of 10-14 players with a goalie. Each player must fall into the proper grade bracket for each team. All teams must have 2 Adult Coaches. Fees for each team can be broken up and paid individually or all at once by the team Head Coach. The Head Coach must create a team, and players can register once the team is made. (Registration will guide coaches through the process of creating a team and making payment.)
 
Registration

$1790/per team.
$179/per individual player.

Payment by bank ACH or credit card will add a processing fee
Bank Account Fee: 3.25% + $0.30
Credit Card Fee: 4.25% + $0.30

Field Maps & directions

The Summer Sixes League will be held at Pine Trails Park, in Parkland, FL.  The facility has 3 turf fields. 

Parking is available on the South end of the park.  Parking extends North of the recreation center, back to the baseball and lacrosse fields.  Additional parking is available at Pine Trails Elementary south of the park.

Park Rules:

  • NO Pets

  • NO BBQ Grills/Fires

  • NO Alcohol/Smoking
